Starting in 2024, the MGA will sponsor a team to play in the end of season Team Championship organized by the OGA. There will be a qualification process in order for players to get into the 4-person team put forward. It will consist of players gathering points throughout the season in MGA major individual events. In order to gain points you need to play in the Open Division and only gross scores count.

 

Points Accrual

1st Place - 10 points

2nd place - 9 points

3rd place - 8 points

4th place - 7 points

5th place - 6 points

6th place - 5 points

7th place - 4 points

8th place - 3 points

9th place - 2 points

10th place - 1 point

 

At the end of the Club Championship, the 4 players with the highest cumulative score will have the opportunity to represent the club at The Team Championship Event. If for any reason, one or more of the top 4 players cannot play in the event we will reach out to 5th spot and so on.
