
(This information supplements the Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA and the R&A, the Championship entry, and the 2024 Creekside Hard Card)
1. TEE MARKERS – Play is from the Players Course tee markers.
2. OUT OF BOUNDS – Is defined by the nearest inside points, at ground level, of white stakes and fence posts and inside edge of curb on all public roads. Additionally, a ball which crosses a public road defined as out of bounds and comes to rest beyond that road is out of bounds, even though it may lie on another part of the course. The driveway to the left of the 9th hole and down to the club house is considered a public road.
3. NO PLAY ZONES – Defined by blue tipped stakes or a red line. The area behind the 17th green is a Penalty No Play Zone and Penalty relief is quired. Model Local Rule E-8.2 is in effect.
4. DROPPING ZONES – If a ball is in the penalty area on the below-mentioned holes, including when it is known or virtually certain that a ball that has not been found came to rest in the penalty area, the player has these relief options, each for one penalty stroke:
Take relief under Rule 17.1, or, as an extra option, drop the original ball or another ball in the dropping zone. The dropping zone is a relief area under Rule 14.3.
Dropping Zones have been established on the following holes: 2, 6, 9 and 15; for a ball entering the red penalty area between the green stakes. Hole 17 for a ball entering the yellow penalty area. Hole 17 for a ball entering the No Play Zone.
Hole 2 (DZ 2) – The red penalty area behind the putting green between the two green stakes.
Hole 6 (DZ 6) – The red penalty area between the green stakes, to the right of the green.
Hole 9 (DZ 9) – The red penalty area, between the green stakes, to the right of and behind the putting green.
Hole 15 (DZ 15) – The red penalty area, between the green stakes, to the right of and behind the putting green.
Hole 17 (DZ 17) – The yellow penalty area in front of the green, to the right of the cart path near the 18th tee.
Hole 17 (DZ 17) – The No Play Zone behind 17 green. A dropping zone to the right of and behind the green
5. ADDITIONAL RELIEF OPTION FOR RED PENALTY AREA BETWEEN THE BRIDGES ON HOLE 10— When the ball last crossed the edge of the red penalty area, as an extra relief option adding one penalty stroke, the player may drop the original ball or another ball on the opposite side of the penalty area.

6. IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (e.g., SPRINKLER HEADS) CLOSE TO THE PUTTING GREEN – Local Rule as prescribed In Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect. Model Local Rule F-5.
7. MISSING PLAYER OR MARKER CERTIFICATION – The Model Local Rule L-1 is in effect.
8. GROUND UNDER REPAIR—Defined by white lines. Ground under repair also includes French drains, which are trenches filled with rocks or stones and newly trenched areas.
Ground under repair may include areas of unusual damage. When immediately adjacent to an obstruction, such an area is part of the obstruction.
9. WHEN COMPETITION IS FINAL— The competition is final when the trophy has been presented to the winner or, in the absence of a prize ceremony, when all scores have been approved by the Committee.
